If you are a citizen of the Czech Republic or another EU / EEA / Switzerland state, then you have an insurance card of your child's health insurance company, which contains the number of the insured, which is used for the purpose of the admission procedure to the kindergarten.
If you are a foreigner outside the EU / EEA / Switzerland, then you are not entitled to a European Health Insurance Card, but you can have a similar green card, which is issued to the insured of the ZP ČR and also contains the number of the insured.

The child’s place or permanent residence is decisive in determining the school catchment area (according to Section 36 para 5 of the Education Act).

We kindly ask you to be collegial with other parents and withdraw your applications from nursery schools where your child has been admitted but you have already decided they will not attend this school.
We kindly ask you to make the above-mentioned decision by 25 May 2023 at the latest and inform the headmasters of the nursery schools that your child is not going to attend.
